This 1965 fastback is incredible! Fully custom craftsmanship, 6 year restoration. Signed by carroll shelby, patience to detail produced impressive performance and top quality fabrication. Each nut and bolt is grade 8 or polished stainless steal. Wide body with smooth flares. Patience during assembly produced beautiful body alignment, fiberglass hood reinforced with steel rods at seams to prevent warping from heat. The previous owner purchased this car through barrett jackson in 2010 with a 347 stroker, that wasn’t good enough so he recently installed a new roush 427 ir crate engine, a work of art, really. Generating 552 hp and 535 lb-ft torque, this engine has forged pistons, rods, and cranks in a race-ready block. As with all roush performance crate engines, this was hot tested with multiple pulls on a dyno to document the horsepower. The motor alone was over $50k installed, receipts are avail. Also, comes with a 2-year/24,000 mile warranty, the best in the industry!
This 1965 mustang has very smooth flares and shaved door handles, the paint used is lexus pearl white over a pure whit base with red shelby stripes and looks amazing! Flush fit 2-piece custom fabricated front grille. Power windows, keyless remote, power rack and pinion steering, power brakes, ac, cruise control, alarm with paging system, and is fully covered with dynamat. Sub-frame connectors tied into an 8-point roll cage, 18″ torque thrust wheels with 13″ front and 12″ rear drilled and slotted rotor baer brakes. Aluminum fuel cell.
