Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ 1966 Ford Mustang GT
AdvertisementThe popular Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ nitro touring car is now available with the 1966 Ford Mustang GT body. This scale replica features all of the striping and graphics found on the real car.
The “Plus” means more option parts have been added as standard equipment. What’s new? An aluminum tuned pipe is now included for blistering speed, improved heat dissipation, and extra strength. The black alloy pipe matches the header and engine head perfectly for a stealth look that warns your buddies that the G3.0 is serious about laying down massive power.
A new Two Stage air filter has also been added, similar to the proven design found on the Savage truck. It’s bigger than the old filter so you can run longer between routine maintenance intervals. The internal pre-oiled foam element is protected by an outer foam layer, providing optimal air filtration for longer engine life. To help put this new found horsepower to the ground, hardened metal final drive gears from the Evo SS have been added, with a higher gear ratio for more top speed and extra toughness.
To top everything off we offer six body styles… The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette (10054) the Fujitsubo HPI Racing Impreza (10075), 1966 Ford Mustang GT (10052), 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda (10053), Acura NSX (10050), and the Greddy Nissan 350Z (10051). Of course the bodies are completely painted with pre-applied graphics and they’re exact fully licensed replicas of the real cars.
Our brand new powerful G3.0 engine is included. Rated for 2.2 horsepower at a screaming 31,000 RPM, the G3.0 is a high torque engine with features that include aggressive porting, durable ABC construction, a large heat sink head, dual needle 6.5mm carburetor and a lightweight aluminum connecting rod. The large .18 cubic inch size propels the Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ to a top speed in excess of 50 mph! And, the G3.0 engine is designed to be easy to start, easy to tune, and rock-steady reliable.

About Mustang
The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Introduced early on April 17, 1964, as a "1964½" model, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest nameplate in production and has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation. The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobiles sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks and gave rise to competitors such as GM's Chevrolet Camaro, AMC's Javelin, and Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracuda. It also inspired coupés such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri, which were exported to the United States. Ford and several third party companies offered many modified versions of the highly popular Mustang in order to cater to specific portions of the marketplace outside of the mainstream. High performance enthusiasts seek more powerful, sharper handling, sports cars, while collectors and purists seek limited production and alternate or nostalgic styling, such as is commonly found on many commemmorative editions. Still, others were made purely for experimental concepts such as the McLauren M81 (turbo) and SVO, which later influenced production model design. Most variants include both performance upgrades, and unique cosmetic treatments that are typically minimal to maintain the familiar appearance of a stock Mustang. Although most of these Mustang variants were aimed at enthusiasts, a notable exception was the Special Service Package (or SSP), which was designed specifically for law enforcement.
