This listing is for a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that has about every modification most of today’s Mustang owners want !! It is beautiful Arcadian Blue with Blue interior ! It has a clear title and VIN’S are all there …Fender apron, title, door tag ….Yes , they are matching. This car was built in San Jose and spent most of it’s life in Los Angeles. It was recently acquired from it’s long time military owner out of San Antonio Texas. There have been many modifications and upgrades done to this Mustang and every mod is a plus !! It has the 289 engine with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Ceramic coated shorty headers, Holley Street Avenger carb on an aluminum Stealth intake, power steering, Disc brakes, 5 speed T5 manual transmission, hydraulic clutch , Cobra GT350 aluminum oil pan, 1″ front sway bar, performance cam, and more ! This car runs and drives /performs well. It always starts easily as it has a high torque starter . It’s road manners are impressive and is sure to make it’s new owner proud to own this Mustang !! Less than 5000 miles on the engine rebuild. The tires are near new Yokohama P215/50ZR17. The tires aremounted on near new American Racing polished alloy wheels and really look great on this car.
The exterior is very solid and the body is straight. The floors and frame rails are solid and there are no underbody rust issues that need attention.

About Mustang
The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Introduced early on April 17, 1964, as a "1964½" model, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest nameplate in production and has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation. The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobiles sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks and gave rise to competitors such as GM's Chevrolet Camaro, AMC's Javelin, and Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracuda. It also inspired coupés such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri, which were exported to the United States. Ford and several third party companies offered many modified versions of the highly popular Mustang in order to cater to specific portions of the marketplace outside of the mainstream. High performance enthusiasts seek more powerful, sharper handling, sports cars, while collectors and purists seek limited production and alternate or nostalgic styling, such as is commonly found on many commemmorative editions. Still, others were made purely for experimental concepts such as the McLauren M81 (turbo) and SVO, which later influenced production model design. Most variants include both performance upgrades, and unique cosmetic treatments that are typically minimal to maintain the familiar appearance of a stock Mustang. Although most of these Mustang variants were aimed at enthusiasts, a notable exception was the Special Service Package (or SSP), which was designed specifically for law enforcement.
